On Friday 11th April, The Waterfront played host to the first outdoor food event of 2025 — and what a way to begin the season. In partnership with the ever-popular Digbeth Dining Club, the evening brought together fantastic food, buzzing atmosphere, and picture-perfect spring weather.
A Foodie’s Dream by the Water
From the moment the stalls opened, the atmosphere was buzzing. Crowds gathered to sample a world of flavours, with nine diverse vendors serving everything from comfort food classics to global street eats. On the menu:
- Disco Fries – indulgent, cheesy goodness
- Shrimps, Wings and Tings – bold and spicy Caribbean-inspired bites
- Indian Street Food – packed with flavour and spice
- Bento Boxes – fresh, colourful, and beautifully balanced
- Fried Chicken – golden, crispy perfection
- Tacos – hand-held bursts of joy
- Korean Street Food – a fusion of sweet, sour, and spicy
- Cheesecake – rich, creamy, and impossible to resist
- Craft Beer – the perfect pairing to it all
It was more than just a food event — it was a celebration of community, good taste, and the start of longer, lighter nights.
The Start of Something Big
This is just the beginning. Working closely with Digbeth Dining Club, we’re planning an exciting calendar of events throughout 2025 — from food festivals to live music and more. With the canal as our backdrop and a growing community of food lovers, The Waterfront is fast becoming one of the West Midlands’ must-visit destinations.
See You Again Soon
